Red Ribbon Week
October 23rd-30th, 2009

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States.

Dear Parents and Members of the Community,

I am very excited for Red Ribbon Week to be off and running. Our Assembly with Nicole Gianchetta is 1:00 on Friday Oct 23rd and community members are welcome to attend. The student body will be very visible October 28th in the community. Our elementary will be doing their annual trick-or-treating and our secondary will be completing community service projects all around town. The Students Against Destructive Decisions club have been working very hard to make all of this happen.

Please shop at our local grocery store and use a paper bag for your groceries. Our elementary students have created safe and drug free slogans and drawings that are on them.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make this week possible,

Sincerely,

 Ms. Riener
