Mike Howard is a native Idahoan. He has been in public education, as a classroom teacher, coach or administrator, for 45 years. He earned his BA at The College of Idaho in Business Administration and Marketing. He completed his Masters in School Administration at The College of Idaho and his Education Specialist degree through The University of Idaho.
Mr. Howard comes from a family of life-long educators. Two sisters and both parents made careers of public education. He is married to Vicki and has two sons. He has lived in the New Meadows area for 38 years.
Mr. Howard is in his eighth year as Superintendent of Schools at Meadows Valley. It is his 20th year with the MV School District, as a classroom teacher, coach, Secondary Principal and now Superintendent.
His motto is “Live Your Life In Such a Way That If Anyone Said Something Bad, No One Would Believe It”
