Extracurricular activities such as track are not a diversion but rather an extension of a good educational program.
Meadows Valley students who participate in activity programs tend to have higher grade-point averages, better attendance records,
and fewer discipline problems than students generally. The Meadows Valley track program provides valuable lessons for
practical situations - teamwork, sportsmanship, winning and losing, and hard work.
While involved in the
Meadows Valley sports programs, students learn self-discipline, build self confidence, and develop skills to handle competitive
situations – the very same qualities observed in responsible adults and productive citizens.
The coaches and track members invite you to come to the meets and cheer them
on as they represent the Meadows Valley Mountaineers on the track and field this season!
