Meadows Valley School Volunteers...Make a Difference Everyday!

During the holiday season and throughout the entire year, Meadows Valley School is fortunate enough to have many wonderful community members that care greatly about the students and the overall welfare of the school.  We would like to take a moment to thank the numerous volunteers that spend countless hours and extend an enormous amount of energy to the betterment of our school.  Without these people, we would not be able to offer as much one on one contact time with students and certain programs would not be available.

Volunteers are invaluable assets to all of us and we would like to acknowledge the very special people that give their time to Meadows Valley School.  We recognize the following regular volunteers and also would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteers, whether for a few moments or for many hours.

We appreciate all that you do.

Thank you volunteers!

A Special Thanks to all Meadows Valley Volunteers!

Meet Claudia Bentz.

Claudia is a Meadows Valley alumni who attended school Kindergarten through the 12th Grade.   After graduation she worked in Lewiston, Idaho at Hell’s Gate State Park in the Kiosk and grounds crew.   After returning home to New Meadows she began work in McCall at the Shore Lodge as a Sales & Catering Coordinator.  Claudia worked at Shore Lodge until moving to New Plymouth, Idaho with her husband Russ where she stayed home to raise her children for the next seven years.  Moving back to New Meadows three years ago, she now has four children attending Meadows Valley.  Tyler is in high school while Tater, Tuff and Raynee attend elementary.

Claudia has been volunteering at Meadows Valley School and has been involved in the Optimist Group helping with the with the summer baseball program and Pee-Wee Basketball. She also organizes the Santa visit and gift bags for the annual Christmas concert. Occasionally she has the opportunity to substitute teach at the school.  Claudia feels that volunteering is not only a good way for her to spend extra time with her children, but demonstrate to them the value of aiding others where needed for unselfish reasons.  She believes that giving is very important.

Claudia Bentz is an inspiration and help to those around her. Thank you Claudia for your contribution, for bettering the lives of the children of Meadows Valley School, with your generosity!
